Activities |
The Mechanical Integrity Specialist will ensure the site is compliant under PSM regulations for PSM-covered equipment and API standards for tanks, pressure vessels, safety relief devices and utility/process piping.
The Mechanical Integrity Specialist will interact with other disciplines such as safety, environmental, production, administrative, shift leaders, process technicians, control technicians, engineers, designers, other mechanics, I&E technicians, planner/scheduler, storeroom clerks, etc., to accomplish the above job dimensions.

Context and environment |
The context and environment for this position will be plant-wide. External mechanical integrity support for other Arkema sites will be required as needed. Approximately 25% travel required. |
Accountabilities |
The Mechanical Integrity Specialist is responsible for the MI Program at the plant site. |

Comply with HSEQ Policy. Comply with Regulations, Legal and Internal Requirements and Internal requirements as made known by the site and by the business unit. Comply with the rules of the specific location to which one is assigned as well as the rules set by the business unit (BU) and Arkema Inc. Comply with all standard procedures and work instructions, aka, MOC’s, LO/TO, to ensure productivity, quality assurance and cost effectiveness. Review their work area for potential losses and report hazards to the direct supervisor. Report Near Misses to the direct supervisor. Report incidents or accidents to the direct supervisor Identify and communicate potential gains or possible improvements to the management system |
