Based at Arkema's Corporate Offices and R&D Center in King of Prussia, PA, the Supply Chain Analyst is responsible for providing supply chain support for the Technical Polymers business unit.  The position reports to the Technical Polymers Supply Chain Director and interfaces with Marketing, Manufacturing, Corporate Supply Chain, Logistics, Purchasing, Sales and Customer Service Personnel within Arkema and requires close coordination and collaboration with global counterparts in Europe and Asia.

 

Specific job activities include (but are not limited to):

 

Analyzing and preparing time-sensitive reporting specific to the Technical Polymers (Specialty Polyamides and Fluoropolymers) supply chain organizations.  Specifically inventory (prime and sub-prime) to enable BU to identify actionable items. Data accuracy is critical, as the BU will be making strategic decisions based on this reporting.

  • Analyst activities include the calculation and analysis of metrics implemented in the scope of the global Working Capital Optimization project (forecast accuracy, supply chain performance, % inventory within targets). Analyst will be responsible for the evolution of metric sources for reporting initiatives. The position also includes conducting performance reviews for inventory health and forecast accuracy and identifying improvement in the current process and tools.
  • Analyst will also serve as liaison between business unit and global teams to aid in the validation of global reporting initiatives. Analyst will work with business unit on aligning business processes to global standard to achieve accurate KPIs and drive continuous improvement. This requires validation using various tools such as Power BI, Picaso, WWBR, SAP PRD & NICE.
  • Analyst will also be responsible for managing master data in all systems (Picaso, SAP, Salesforce and MDM) to align with global product hierarchies.
  • Analyst will be responsible for any ad-hoc reporting that is required of the business unit (statistical forecast, system health check, inventory missing in transit, service offer monitoring and demand availability & allocation).

 

Managing the purchase order management of any imported raw materials; including Monomers and 3rd party raw material purchases.

  • Work with Global Supply Chain Teams on creating and maintaining any purchases orders related to Monomer within Arkema. This activity would be both in the PRD and NICE SAP Systems.

 

Other Duties as assigned.

  • Process invoices related to domestic and/or international freight and verify for accuracy
  • Manage all daily Quality Data Entry into SAP for Imported Products
  • Daily management of the Transportation Management System
  • Pricing and Rebate Maintenance
  • Data Management Master Data Creation and Management in all systems
  • Create and Submit and paperwork required for NAFTA, Conflict Minerals and Duty Substitution

 

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES REQUIRED:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain or related discipline.
  • 1-3 years of experience in Supply Chain or related field.
  • Possess a strong working knowledge of supply chain concepts and systems in which they will be working (i.e.
  • Working Capital, inventory days on hand, inventory health, inventory categories – blocked/aged/Quality Inspection, etc.) 
  • Proficiency in data manipulation and entry
  • The candidate must be skilled at mastering Excel, Power Point, Word, and demonstrated experience learning other company/proprietary tools.
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Self-starter with inquisitive nature along with aptitude to originate and implement new concepts quickly.
  • Capability of quickly learning new technology and systems and applying knowledge in regular use
  • Strong organizational  skills
